Dr. Chad Hoge
Originally from Bismarck, North Dakota, Dr. Chad received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Jamestown College in 2001. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Chad says it is rewarding to communicate with children and make their dental experiences as positive as possible.
Dr. Mikala Hoge
Dr. Mikala is a Lincoln, Nebraska, native who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2001 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Mikala enjoys both the challenges and rewards of being a pediatric dentist.
Dr. Tyler Johnson
Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, Dr. Tyler received his degree in biology from North Dakota State University in 2012. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2017. He enjoys making a positive impact on children’s lives through pediatric dentistry.

Hi! I am the Grand Forks Office Manager. I have been with Dakota Pediatric Dentistry since January, 2015. I grew up in Oslo, Minnesota and graduated from high school in Grand Forks. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota. My passion is to make you and your child comfortable by building confidence, trust, and friendship. I appreciate how positive the environment is here and we all work extremely well together to provide the best service for you.
When I am not at work, I value quality time with my husband, Zach, my child, Nash and my two puppies. I love to travel, golf, snowboard, ski, and go to the lake.

I strive to make every visit in our office welcoming, fun, and enjoyable for both you and your child. I currently live out in the country with my husband, our son, and two puppies. We cherish our time with our family and friends going to the lake, cooking out, and playing games. I look forward to meeting you and your kiddos!

Welcome. I am a Patient Care Coordinator. I am a Carrington, North Dakota native and I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of North Dakota. I also earned a Master of Science in general administration from Central Michigan University. I feel that I can provide a nurturing and positive experience for both you and your child, and this is very rewarding for me. I enjoy playing sports with my three sons, spending time with friends and family at the lake, reading, and exercising.

As a Dental Hygienist, it is my goal to provide a comfortable and compassionate experience for your child. I grew up in Grafton, North Dakota and after high school I was educated in dental assisting. I worked as a Dental Assistant for 9 years and in 1999, I decided to further my education and went back to school for dental hygiene. I have been working as a Dental Hygienist ever since! I currently live in Grafton with my husband Chris and our daughter Claire. I have two older children, Melissa and Cory, who are living and working/going to college in Minneapolis. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending summer weekends at the lake, and going to UND hockey games with my family.
Hello, I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist here at Dakota Pediatric Dentistry. I was born and raised in Grand Forks and now live in Thompson, ND with my son. I knew at an early age this was the profession for me, particularly being able to work with kids. I strive to put children at ease and love to celebrate their accomplishments in the dental environment. My favorite things to do outside of the office are spending quality time with my son and friends, going to sporting events, hunting, and crafting. I cannot wait to meet your family!
As a dental assistant, I enjoy helping your child with any dental treatment by providing a caring and calming environment. I grew up in Edinburg and Adams, North Dakota on a farm. After graduating from Adams High School, I received my dental assisting education from Lakeland Medical Dental Academy in Minneapolis. I then moved to East Grand Forks and began my dental assisting career in general dentistry. However, for the last 25 years, I have enjoyed assisting in pediatric dentistry. My husband Dean and I live in Alvarado and we have three adult children, Chelsey, Emily, and Adam. We also have two grandsons, Murphy and MaCready. I love spending time with my family and playing with my grandsons. I enjoy warm vacations, movies, walking, and spin classes.

I earned my degree in dental assisting from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. My small hometown of Walhalla, North Dakota was where I first came to adore working with children. Spending time with friends and family is something I really cherish. I also love hunting, exercising, summertime, and organizing.
